With the blessings of Paramhans Sant Shri Hirdaram Sahib ji and motivation & guidance of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management CSR club organized a special campaign following the philosophy of ‘Happiness comes in the joy of giving’. Under the banner of “Khushiyon ka Pitara” Winter Cloth Donation Drive’ was organized from 24th to 30th December, 2021. During the winters, there are people who lack warmth and to help these needy people, the institute took an initiative. The collection boxes were kept in the Institute, wherein students and faculty members donated woolen clothes, shawls, caps and blankets. The donated clothes were distributed in the adopted villages under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) – Nipaniya Sukha, Kardai and Rozibeg on 6th January 2022, and the bliss of giving to society was clearly seen on the faces of SHIM students. Director Dr. Ashish Thakur and Managing Director Shri Hero Gyanchandni Ji appreciated the efforts of students and faculty members for the gracious cause.
Book Review Session
SHIM believes in providing a practical learning Environment to the Students, On these lines, SHIM Training and Placement Cell organized a Book Review session for the Integrated MBA III Semester. The Book Review session helps the students to further inculcate better reading habits and learn from books.
The Book Review session was scheduled for 20th December 2021, More than 50 Students participated with full zeal & enthusiasm. Students got to know a concise plot summary of different Best National & International books like How the sea become salty by Sudha Murthy, Big magic (creative living beyond fear) by Elizabeth Gilbert, Girl who knew too much by Vikrant Khanna, The palace of illusions by Chitra Banerjee and many more.
